I, personally, like outdoor showers in the dead of winter. You're encapsulated in a cocoon of steamy water... uh, I think I rambled off-thread...

hahaha. we did winter time things we like several months ago, remember? some of us had long lists. most just wanted winter to end (especially last winter). this is DD's favorite summer thread!

summer time lists are so different from winter. I guess its what makes life so interesting all year long, year after year.

I would rather have a hard freeze right now than deal with the onslaught of these yellow flies. but they shouldn't last too much longer. I hope.

but there are many things I do love about summer. let's keep 'em coming.

Love a long tall glass of cold sweet tea in the summer time.

I do remember. I also remember that we had snow here in Texas just a little over two months ago and Sunday they are predicting 106 here. Now, that might be a tad hot, even for me, but I WILL NOT complain.

the traffic on 30A sucked today - tons of cars slowed to a crawl by people looking, texting, not knowing where they were going, seeing the sights, etc... people crossing 30A on bikes and on foot on or near a random crosswalk in the middle of nowhere that drivers do not even notice - there are no instructions for them whatsoever.. pedestrians and bikers are assuming traffic is going to stop and people are slamming on brakes giving me a heart attack... i try not to get impatient because I guess i do those things (except texting while driving) while visiting other places. not my favorite thing about summer. but whattayagonnado? all I can do is try to remember to leave the house 20 minutes earlier than usual if I need to be somewhere.

sorry, that was kind of a negative summer item.
