I LOVE her!!!!!!:love::love::love::love:
she was a trip. I should have added: she never drank, except maybe a sip of wine or champagne at very special occasions. she was already high on life, and hers was very, very full. some tough times. multiple families on one big farm. she quit driving after a very little car wreck (when she was fairly young), so we were all her drivers for years! she was a smart one... I would love to have people just waiting in line to drive me everywhere.

I've heard you talk about her before, but I love hearing the stories. Please tell us some more. :love:

My family keeps naming babies with other family member's names and it is getting ridiculous.

It was okay when it started - Grandma Scooterbug and my cousin had the same first name. My middle name is my mother's maiden name and Scooterbro's middle name is Grandma Scooterbug's maiden name.

Grandpa Scooterbug, Papa Scooterbug, and Scooterbro had the same first and last name but Scooterbro went by a nickname and Grandpa and Papa used both their first and middle name.

Then my cousins (sisters) had babies within 6 months of each other and gave them that same first name and made their middle names their grandfather's names. So now you say a male name at any family gathering and you can mean up to 5 of the people present.

And the one baby's middle name that isn't also its grandfather's name (it was a great great uncle's name) is rather unfortunate - as it was also the name of my grandparents insane golden retriever known for it's proclivity to eat poop (and anything else it could find), hump its bed or guests, try to kill the grandchildren by knocking them off cliffs, and break its teeth playing with rocks. :roll:

Yep, at any event we've got: John August, John, John, John David, Jay Henry, James, and David. (And John F and Uncle John recently passed away). :roll:

Papa John
Uncle John
John (also known as Father John)
John-John
Lee John
Johnny
John Joseph
John Holmes (just kidding)

and that's the rather immediate family
