Too late, he already sang. He is history.

I attempted to vote for Taylor but stopped called after the 10th busy signal. They should have internet voting. They could ditch the Cingular adds and pick up Yahoo adds.:dunno: Voting would be much easier.

Me too! but glad OL reminded me to try again. What's with all this text messaging. I saw that on Deal or no Deal the other night. Are they getting some kind of kickback on text messaging or what. Doesn't make sense

Still Busy! :bang:

This is your reminder to vote now!

I got my votes in for Taylor. Loved love loved -You are so Beautiful.

I liked Elliott's last song. I wasn't that crazy about Kat's version of Somewhere over the rainbow. It was just okay for me.

Think about when AI first came on and ScrltB told us about her friend that was going to be in the auditions. Who would have thought we would follow Taylor all the way to the end!!!! Yea!!!
:clap_1:

Certainly not me! But it has been fun!

I loved Taylor tonite! I've been for Elliott most of the way through(Chris WAS my man, but looks like he got the big head). But tonite, Taylor outshined both the other two IMHO. I think you're right, SJ, it will be Taylor and Catherine and Taylor "WILL BE the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL." (imho)

Taylor was great! His line was very difficult to get through to. I managed to 4 times but that is all. Unfortunately, if Daniel Powter is on American Idol tomorrow night, it would be ironic if he sang Bad Day to the person being voted off. Bad enough to hear that upon exiting from a recording but live would be worse. I think Taylor had some great song choices. Elliott did best on his last two songs. I have noticed improvement in him over the past couple of weeks. If he is gone tomorrow night, he will still be picked up for something I am sure.

I discovered you can start voting during the last song. Managed to get about 5 votes in then everything was jammed. About an hour later I could get through to McPhee, never Taylor or Eliott. Aside from that, Paula didn't do Elliot a favor with the song she picked for him :pissed:

Everyone on here that watches and votes on AI is going to be bored after next Wednesday night as there will be no more idol to watch until auditions that will be shown next January. I do watch House most times after AI. That guy is one weird guy! His character anyway. I watch Ghost Hunters on Wednesday nights other than that there is nothing I watch the rest of the week.

I watched AI for the first time last night- the last 30 minutes or so. Taylor IS very good. Elliot has the charisma of a toad and bored me to tears watching him. His voice is fine, but there was nothing about his voice that would make me look up from the newspaper and pay attention. Katherine is yet another Mariah Carey-like caterwauler- I have never liked that slick-produced wailing stuff. After someone has bent 5 notes in 5 seconds, I'm done-just sing the damm song already.

I did figure out the reason that the show never grabbed me- that Vegas-style set is a real turn off. I would have really enjoyed hearing Taylor sing in a dumpy beer joint.

I'm grumpy today- can ya tell?:D

Jdarg, I am glad someone else feels the same as me about Katharine's singing! Elliott can sing but as they have said all along other than last week he has no personality. I wish he would hang in just to knock Katharine off! I would laugh tonight if she were the one gone. She should have been last week and I didn't think she sang well at all last night. Did not care for her rendition of Over the Rainbow. As Simon would say, totally hideous! The only song the judges liked of hers was Over the Rainbow and I thought all her songs she sang were hideous! My husband hit the mute button on our remote during one of her songs.

My guess after last night's performances would be that Taylor goes all the way, he has the voice AND the personality that the other two lack....

GO TAYLOR!!!!! :clap_1: I do think that Kat may hang on tonight, bye bye to Elliott ;-)

My understanding is that text messaging doesn't jam the lines like an actual call. I discovered this during the storms down here. Even when the cell towers are jammed, the text messages still come through. I guess they either take less bandwidth or either the message sneaks in at the first available cell. That said, they promote Cingular so much, that it doesn't sound like other cellular services work with their texting.
