Seriously, if she was a local that behavior wouldn't have lasted long as someone in a passing car would have known her and yelled at her to get her dumbarse off the road! 
If they have a Seaside, Water Color, Alys whatever or Rosemary shirt on BINGO your a Tourist. I love the Red Bar but ya won't catch me wearing that shirt unless I'm out of town!! Sorry Auggie!:rofl:
I must agree. I got suckered 4 different times by false advertising from the back side.No, luckily the folks coming the other way were paying attention.
Though the 'having trouble staying in the lane because they were eyeballing women' gawk factor of males heading east this morning was QUITE high. (and they weren't gawking at anything very special IMO).

I can understand when it's jail bait in string bikinis, but one guy was gawking at 2 fully dressed women - both pushing strollers and one was at least 7 months pregnant!

I don't think being a tourist makes one lose their sense of being responsible, these types of people are more than likely irresponsible at home.
I meet this type of jogger on Memphis streets all the time. Never would I think she would be anything other than stupid.

What I haven't figured out, is what day of the week is it acceptable to dish the tourists and which days are off limits, as it certainly seems that there is a difference. ;-)

but I take great offense that everytime someone is doing something stupid down there it is automatically assumed that it is a tourist. I don't believe that all of the locals know every single local that lives there. Don't locals ever do anything stupid? Perhaps there is a local that likes to run in the middle of the street, perhaps there are local families that like to walk out in front of cars, or not watch their kids closely, or whatever. The comments like some of the ones that I have seen posted here, and elsewhere about us tourists on this board really crawl under my skin.
