Don'tr mind chipping in either, but I am not sure if Beachbummett has already made arrangements a while ago to have the permit picked up and the bonfire started. She's not in SoWal this weekend and I left her number home.

I'm baaaaack! My guy charges the same thing and not so sure is reliable, I left him messages for two weeks....so count me in to pitch in toward the set up and clean up fees. When does he need the money? He will need money for permit, canister and firewood. When can we get it to him?

Everyone needs to be sure and bring trash bags....remember no "trash on the beach" ...does that apply to people too?:funn:

I can't wait! Will be grayt to put faces to all the funn's!

Be sure and bring lawn chairs, if anyone needs some let me know. We have a bunch at the house.

What about music? Has anyone made arrangements or did we all decide to just bring some tunes & a player?

Sooooo.....now for costumes....what'cha wearin? :dunno: What did I read SJ was wearing...something about dental floss?

Don't forget...Sunday we are all doing brunch at Blue Orleans!

thanks for looking into the bonfire Fran. I can pitch in some mula.

And Mr. Smiling Joe! relax your crack. Have you forgotten your manners? This party consists of nothing but loyal sowallers who have made themselves more aware of local environmental concerns than most people who live here. if anyone can be trusted with our treasured Grayton Beach, it's this crew. ;-)

Quite a few of us are highly trained in the art of the Grayton Beach party - franny, allifunn, me, otters, kurt, SJ, uncle timmy, etc. We get to do it pretty often. But this party is a little more special than usual because of all those coming in from out of town have taken the time to plan and network and put it all together. Thanks to all of you for bringing this real community of folks together, face to face, for a blast on the beach...

I hope Corky brings her laptop so we can post some special messages to our friends who can't be there - you will ALL be missed. IF you want us to print your avatar, or whatever, please email it to one of us who will bring it and tape it to the truck. we'll toast you and tell jokes about you and maybe make up some lies too.

I have a feeling that next Saturday is going to be an event to remember. thanks to all for making it important and making it happen.

I posted a threatd to John R. He is the logical choice for the music. I'll have my Ipod with small jam box if JR can't make it.
