The Covid-19 vaccines do not stop transmission of the virus. Think again.

You could say that they don't 100% stop the transmission and acquisition, but it's absolutely true that vaccines considerable slow it down while at the same time significantly lessen the severity of symptoms. Anyone who still uses algebra can understand the rationale behind taking the vaccine.

I wear a mask after I got my vaccination because these are two very simple things that I can do to try to stop the spread of this virus. When the virus hit, I didn't go out of my way to find reasons not to do the right thing. I listened to the experts and tried to do my part.

Indoor masking is a good idea not to mention recommended by our CDC and top scientists. Our essential workers and health care professionals really appreciate it.

If you spend time in Gainesville Florida, as well as many other places around the world, you'll find people who want to protect their family and friends and community and this is what they do. Sure there are those students around campus who don't have time for covid precautions. Even they know where they need to wear a mask. They may be young and immortal but they are not idiots.
