The coyotes will go after a 10-15 or so pound cat, especially during pup season. So if you've got a dog of similar size or smaller, no reason why they wouldn't go after that dog as well. They're equal opportunity medium-sized predators...
She weighs about 10 lbs! Like I said she does not go out alone...but that is scary!
