Re: Photos
Folks, now that this board has settled back down from its peak over the last few days, I am sure that Kurt will be able to capture many artistic photos of fun at the beach to help provide a little balance to the numerous photos of the devistation of our treasured area. I feel that the real treasure is in all of the hearts and on all of the many faces of the people and creatures that make up this beautiful place. As MOFRO sings when referring to the true Florida, "... the kind of beauty that hits down in your soul..." No matter where you dig, you will always find my treasure. The soul of our communities is about to shine brighter than the Sun ever will. My heart goes out to all of you who were affected by Mother Nature. Remember, sometimes we never know the purpose of events in our lives, but if you keep your eyes and minds open, you may one day, find a bigger beauty in something you once thought heartbreaking. I have personally witnessed signs of Mother Nature's work from the highest mountain top in the USA all the way down to the lowest altitudes of the sea, and many, many places in between. I wonder what we would have thought about the devistation if we once had houses along what is now the Grande Canyon? What if the Appalachians had never washed into the Gulf? Mother Nature has her mind on a bigger picture of which we often seeonly the distant remains, like looking many years into the past when we gaze at the numerous stars over our heads. Although I will be elsewhere in the forthcoming days, I would welcome the opportunity to shoot some fun stuff back at the beach. I think as people come back and are helping out in and enjoying our beach communities, the potential is the greatest for capturing some of the most memorable moments ever. I look forward to seeing them Kurt.
As my friend says, "Good on Ya, Mate!"
