[/B]It makes for a much more relaxing day. Sea World is an easy wonderful day too- no tears, no lines, no crowded walkways.

My other fave trick if you are not staying on a monorail line- book the Polynesian Hotel character breakfast. Park your car in their lot, eat breakfast, and bypass the Ticket and Transportation Center (always try to avoid this if you can) by taking the monorail from the Polynesian over to Magic Kingdom. At the end of the day, walk right on to a monorail returning to the hotels, and wave at everyone else standing in long lines to get back to the T&T! This could work for breakfasts at the Contemporary and Grand Floridian too.

This is a great idea.

FYI: The monorail resorts now have a 3 hour guest pass for dining, and notices when you arrive, that parking is not allowed to access the parks. Lately vehicles that over stayed the guest pass, were towed.

I would suggest parking at the Transportation and Ticket center and taking the monorail to your breakfast and then on to your park of choice.

This change was due to the guests of those resorts complaining about the difficulity in finding a parking space that was taken by someone not staying there. Due to the extrememly high cost of staying at these resorts, that concern is understandable.

And doesn't that stink! I'm still gonna figure out a way. I hate the thought of feeling like I am in a cattle feed lot at the T&T.
I wonder if this applies to the valet parking- which is the way we always did it because it was cheap, like $10 or something.

You can still valet, it is $10 plus tips as long as the valet lot is not reaching capacity. At peaks times, holidays and such they have asked for resort ID lately to even valet park.

Word got out and with such it got abused. I avoid the TTC and simply use the Disney transportation from the resort if you are staying with Disney.

chickpea - there was an article in the atlanta paper about this website:
www.disneyworldmoms.com

It's apparently where their new "Mom Panel" posts suggestions. They aren't paid but they do get a trip for 4 every year for participating. The one mom that was featured in the Atlanta article has been to WDW 30 times. :yikes: Minnie - can you top that????????:dunno:
