if they're on any SOWAL roadway before 9am, and do the same, then they're either texting, talking, drunk, or applying make-up! I watched a lady weaving to and fro amongst the lanes by Silver Sands Factory Stores; she was applying mascara!....how the heck does one do THAT and see to drive? I'd be afraid to poke my eye out, not to mention run in to someone's butt! She must have been of the thought: "Hey, if you're going to have an accident, at least look good!" I guess that getting up 10 minutes earlier, and applying make-up prior to the ride to work, is too much to ask......one needs their "beauty sleep"!

I would have just slammed on my brakes. Let her explain that mascara brush dent on her face for the rest of her life.

I really try not to text why driving, but talking is a whole other story. Generally though I trail off in the conversation as the road is my primary concern. I'll hang up on people when I start going through Seaside.

I don't. But my husband has been known to do this.

The irony of the poster and subject was almost too much! :D Is FBB ever w/o some sort of tech device?

Hail, I can't even text when I'm sitting in my living room.:bang::roll:

:lolabove:...omc, i could so teach you.

You and me both. But it seems that we are not so slow as we might think. ;-)

oh, believe me...one can still be slooooooow while typing a text. it does keep me less wordy. :rotfl:

I don't text.
I do talk on the phone while driving though. I didn't see an end to the game...it just kept going and the phone kept saying "huh?" so I gave up. I would have caused a major pile up at those toll booths.

VLingo makes a great software program which converts talk into text. The free version allows you to speak dialing commands and runs circles around BlackBerry's own voice recognition. It is a great app. For something like $15, you can upgrade to have voice recognition for typing texts and emails.

The only problem is my texts would look like this:

What are... MOTHER EFFER GET OFF MY @SS! ...doing for dinner?
