I have two very different wardrobes. I don't mean summer clothing and winter clothing. I'm talking about I wouldn't be seen wearing north of the Mason-Dixon line or south of the Mason-Dixon line, depending on what it is! Like my linen pants that have flip-flops embroidered on them and the other linen pair with pink flamingos on them. They look great (honestly, they do!) when we're in Florida. I cringe to think of them here in Indianapolis. I'd probably be hooted out of town if I wore them here.

My husband and I were walking through Seaside on Sunday and I had on my navy Reebok shorts and a red tee. I caught a reflection of myself and mentally cursed myself for bringing my Northern colors down to the beach with me. Navy and red is a no-can-do in the land of lime green, Pulitzer pink and white!

I guess I could stick to taupe linen and that would work north AND south of the M-D line but I love color too much to bring myself to do it.

I walk around in my bathing suit and cover-up most of the time when I am in SoWal...it is all I can do to get dressed to go out to eat. I wouldn't even have to buy clothes if I lived down there!!!! Hey, maybe that is my ticket to living there...just live in my bathing suit 12 months out of the year, and save a fortune on my clothes bill!!!!!

I do have a florida wardrobe. A couple of dirty wife beaters, a pair of real short cutoff jeans, and a mismatched pair of flip flops

Seriously, my wardrobe at home consists of a pair of boots, a few pairs of jeans and some button ups. My beach wardrobe is a few pair of shorts and my birks. Maybe a shirt.

Personally I think ALL clothes are over rated. I hate them. Luckily, I have a laid back job that I can wear my uniform...jeans and t-shirts. If I had to dress up, I guess they would just have to fire me!

This is how you will recgonize my husband. Not cutoffs but jean shorts, a shirt from Cancun that says "Save Water, Drink Beer", Keens, and a hat (GT or Seacrest Beach).

I wash it a lot while were there.

I of course pack everything I own and end up wearing the same outfit everyday unless I'm in a swimsuit and birkies (bthab!) headed to the beach!

I never learn.

Every year I pack a huge dive bag full of clothes- it's fun to pack for vacation! I even pack 5 or 6 pairs of shoes. And a few belts- God knows why. I wear the same clothes everyday pretty much- start the day in bathing suit and board shorts or cutoffs, and later in the day I get dressed up and add a sarong. Woo hoo! I don't really wear shoes- just park a pair of drug store flips outside the beach house.

Hit a new low this year and did a bit of last minute shopping at Zoo Gallery on a July Saturday night, wearing nothing but a bathing suit. I kinda forgot where I was when I headed out on the bike, and figured out that I wasn't really dressed right as I wheeled through the Red Bar crowd (most of whom were overdressed IMHO). The panic moment came when I had to get on the bike and ride back, carrying a shopping bag. I was praying that I wouldn't crash half nekked in front of the crowd. Or crash into one of the 30 or so 'Burbs parked everywhere! (no offense RO- I have a big ol' hog of a vehicle too)
