Here is a thought. Dont work there. Move to Seattle where minimum wage is $15 an hour and be treated like a king. I dont shop at Wal Mart for a variety of reasons, but there is no denying that the company and family are quite charitable.
and the Catholic church I hear is charitable as they feed the poor and diddle children. Here's a thought, stop giving Wal Mart a pass for lousy behavior. They are not charitable where it counts...their employees. Go to a Costco. They sell at prices better than Wal Mart. They pay their employees well and offer good healthcare/retirement. It is a management decision to do right by people. You know, that old concept of right and wrong don't you..... pre 1980 before corporate America decided it's a-ok to throw their workers overboard to hit the numbers. It's been a great strategy to put us right where we are today. It's backed up by idiot Americans willing to demonize their fellow citizens willing to work for a living wage. What an enlightened country we have. Wal Mart is a Chinese plantation.

No arguements here. Dont shop at Wal Mart, go to your county planning and zoning and petition them moving into the market, support their worker's union movement. Fight the federal minimum wage, which is the primary problem. People have choices where they work, so if the federal government decides to raise the minimum wage, fantastic. But to get your panties in a knot with Wal Mart's labor practices is feutile unless the Man forces them to change. Which I haven' t seen the hero of the masses, the working man's President do anything about so far except hide. I might not know right from wrong, I am Republican an Catholic after all, but I do know about running a business and economics. You want to hate on someone, start with our school systems. Paying teachers Costco wages apparently produces Wal Mart' s workforce. I don't shop at Wal Mart because they put American small business out of business and stock the shelves with cheap chinese garbage, which kills Amarican manufacturing. But it is my choice, I still have choices.

Paying teachers Costco wages apparently produces Wal Mart' s workforce. Explain that one to me. I want to hear your logic.

SpaceX just received a $2.6 billion contract from NASA.

https://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/...commerical-crew-program/ccp-announcement.aspx

NASA announced this afternoon that Boeing and SpaceX will be sending astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) from Kennedy Space Center as early as 2017!

This announcement is part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, identifying private companies to provide safe and reliable access through U.S. space transportation systems to and from the ISS and low Earth-orbit.
The Boeing Company is developing the CST-100 spacecraft in a former shuttle processing facility at Kennedy Space Center. The CST-100 will launch with United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket.

SpaceX continues to advance the Crew Dragon spacecraft, a more advanced version of the cargo-carrying spacecraft used to transport supplies to the ISS. SpaceX will launch Crew Dragon aboard their Falcon 9 rocket.
The Commercial Crew Transportation Capability contracts announced today are designed to complete the NASA certification for human space transportation systems capable of carrying people into orbit.

The contract includes at a minimum of one crewed flight test per company with at least one NASA astronaut to the International Space Station to validate all systems. Once each company’s test program is successfully completed and receives NASA certification, each contractor will conduct at least two, and as many as six crewed missions to the ISS. Boeing received $4.2 billion and SpaceX received $2.6 billion to fulfill this contract.

With private companies handling low-Earth orbit launches to the ISS, NASA can focus on 1) getting the most research and experience out of the space station, and 2) deep space missions, including manned flights to Mars.
Learn more about the Commercial Crew Program.

This is, indeed, good news. Thanks, Kurt.
