And I thought I was picky!
DD, you simply aren't cooking your squash and your broccoli long enough. I don't know who came up with this "crisp-tender" craze, but they should be hanged by the neck until dead, with crisp-tender green beans hanging out of their mouths. (Perhaps this is why I have weight issues, but still.)
Do not attempt to feed me mayonnaise or mustard. Or a raw onion. When cooked, it's tolerable and actually pretty good.
I adore scallops, and I can do cooked oysters, but I haven't yet worked up the courage to eat a raw one. I had a bad experience when I was little. One day, though, I'll do it.
No veal. It's probably good, but we never had veal locally until Publix came in.
No organ meats. No vienna sausages, or canned meat of any sort. And if Fuzz eats souse, hog-head cheese, cat-head stew (not actual cats, but catfish heads - the first time it was on the menu at the farm I got worried), anchovies or sardines in oil, he must take a shower and brush, floss and rinse well before attempting to kiss me. In fact, all sardines must be eaten outside.
And I am allergic to pecan, walnuts, and probably all tree nuts. As in, 911 allergic. Other than that, I'm fairly easygoing.
