no. don't get the wrong idea my little skunky-babydoll. The clinton's waged an excellent campaign against the republicans, both times, and compared to the republicans' campaigns they were quite eloquent, IMO. I was very proud of their work and victory. comparing a clinton campaign to any republican campaign makes them look pretty darn sweet and charming and innocent. not to mention intelligent and the best choice by far. the only real choice.
seeing the clinton's compared to Obama is quite a different story, much contrast, and the clinton's are coming off as desperate as all hail... it's a woman running now, and the stakes are high. no one wants a republican president this time around. she has a real chance. and she's doing whatever it takes. this is a different time and a different era. no comparison whatsoever to Bill's campaign's, IMO.
In other words, I would vote for them all over again if we went back to the past. But, this is 2008. We need fundamental change and that means a new, extraordinary leader. one that can end the disastrous policies of the current administration (in obama's words). hopefully one that won't be tortured by the republicans to the point that real leadership won't be possible by anyone.
