How many Telephone Books does one need?

I agree. We could build some kind of huge sculpture out of the books instead of burning them. Maybe it would get some press and make a statement to the phone companies? Is there anyway to turn them into a suitable building material?

I know we recycle them on campus. Maybe the public library would have an idea about who would take them in the area for recycling.

You could shred them and use them for insulation in home construction. Back in the old days, they would have used them in the crapper.

Raise postage again.

Bad idea on the insulation front, that paper is very flammable and one spark would send up your house like a helium balloon into a power line.
