How many Telephone Books does one need?

Have you noticed everytime you get home there's another phone book on your porch or in front of your mailbox?
What's the deal?
The same numbers are in all of them.
Sprint
Embarq
Talking
Walking
Then you get the solicited phone call asking if you've recieved them................
How many of you Sowalers end up throwing some away?
bonfires? (I don't even think they burn)

We should have an annual phone book burning festival on the beach where we can throw them all on a big bon fire. The toxins might not be good, but it could be fun though. I have at least 3 books to ad so far. How many can we tally up. It might be too big of a fire!

Since both our front and back porches face the street, I'm getting a phone book at both the front and back door. 8 so far.

It is rediculous. I can load 600 contact in my phone and I don't use a quarter of them. Most of them are friends/family, but some are local business's. If I need a phone number I usually use google or sowal. If I'm out and about I use google 411 (1-800-GOOG411). Phone books are almost useless unless you need fridge magnets.

We should be able to build a good fire on the beach this fall. Maybe there is a big secret conspiracy theory about the phone books that I haven't thought of yet. Hmmm....

It is so not green! The only useful telephone book is the one that's at Publix that currently has on the cover what I think is the beach walkover for Watercolor West. The other ones are all about Destin/Fort Walton/PCB with too much irrelevant data to sort through.
