My friend who lives on Long Island said yesterday they were really clearing the roads fast, and she sure the kids would have school today, but then later it was snowing more. So, maybe it's pretty bad out there! :clap_1:

I was uptown most of the day and they finally got the roads "drivable" by 5 pm. It snowed until at least 3. I went downtown to my apt. and the snow on my street was untouched. That's the difference between uptown and downtown...and I love it!

My boss takes the Long Island Expressway in from out in Queens and she can't get to work this morning.

We did Peppermint Patties last night! Hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. It was so good. I just don't understand why these storms don't come during the week. Last year was President's Day...the year before that was MLK b'day. It kills me! They said we broke a record this year. Something like 26 inches in the park.
