You made a good purchase, but for future reference, don't pay much attention to the sales clerks in electronics stores. When I was shopping for my last camera, I did a bit of research online, and read many user comments. When I went to several stores, I asked the sales clerk some basic factual info about the particular cameras, and in more than half the instances, they had no clue and gave me incorrect information. Many of the stores don't give commissions on sales, but particular camera companies will offer other incentives based on sales of their brand of camera. Also, the actual stores will also give incentives for sales contests on particular brands, because the store gets incentives from the manufacturer, via price reduction on purchases. Not all sales clerks will hose you, and I've found a few to actually know what they are selling, but there are a crap load who don't know and don't care. In reality, it is probably very difficult to know all the details of the merchandise in electronics, because the technology changes so quickly, and the models change more than once a year. Rather than having a comparison chart, I guess they just try to keep the information to a minimum in the stores, so as to not confuse the customers with too much information.
