I have my opinions about the responses on all sides of this thread. There is a common theme, though.
If everyone would take a step back and a deep breath, all of us have an opportunity to discuss issues that normally are socially unacceptable to talk about between people of different backgrounds.
Just as Beanstalk's comments got under my skin, so are the majority of everyone else's. It has become the "troll parade" instead of openly and actively listening to everyone's point of view. Beanstalk has very important points, even if you don't like the way that they are said.
Living here and being "ethnically different" from everyone else isn't easy. Also, a message board is supposed to be an open discussion, not a place to say someone's a troll just because we don't agree with what that person is saying.
This is an opportunity that y'all are passing up right now by being stubborn. I love you guys and that statement comes from the heart.
