A poorly timed "whatever" would get you a smack in the Scooterbug house. So dismissive and rude. Especially coming from a teenager at the end of a lecture. :D

Most grammatical errors and trite/incorrectly used phrases bother me, but "like" really drives me nuts - especially when it is used multiple times in a sentence. :bang:

I really like, "What it is is......"

I really do not like, "Net-Net" and "Win-Win." For some reason those always really annoy me from corporate America......maybe it's just corporate America that is annoying. Who knows????? :D

Sorry guys- I love it. To me it means stuff that you can't change so why waste the time/energy on it. The choice is adapt or lose your mind over it, so adapting is the preferred option.

I agree. It's a grown-up version of "get over it." It would be one of those things in the serenity prayer that we cannot change, so move on.

I don't mind any of them as long as they're used correctly and not for the sake of filling dead air.

(I really hate "think outside the box." I'd rather we change it to "color outside the lines.")
