gosh guys, I found it very interesting that she stopped in at B & A's. That was one of the first things I told Mr. JR this morning when I logged on sowal!

I guess it's different when you don't get down for a few years and then to see where there's a celebrity dining at a place that you're familiar with.

THis is one of the things I shared with one of my sons today also!Tony Romo was at B&As last night!

I don't get why so many are poo-poo'ing the fact that some of us think it's cool that they were sighted here...

Just because you aren't fans (to tell the truth- I'm not either) or that she hasn't made any significant contribution to society doesn't mean we can't have some fun with it or think it's interesting when a famous/infamous person is around our little paradise...

I am no fan of Karl Rove but must admit it is cool that he is a Rosemary Beach dweller of some sort...

Mango, did anyone go negative on the David Klein posting you mentioned? You know, say something like- "Whoopie- David Klein"...

Is everyone hung over or something? Sheesh.

I was much more excited about David Klein posting of Jelly Belly fame. People who make the world a better place IMO are much more interesting, oh, and make candy or toys.

Myself, I'm all for any big celebrity coming down here. It's good for the tourist industry and my property value.

Personally, I would love to see her, Jason Castro, Taylor Hicks, Carrie Underwood, Cheryl Crow and any others that have been floating by. I did not, however, drive over to Seaside and get in that crowd to find her. No way, Jose! Oh yea, I did get to speak to Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York (Fergie) at work week before last. She was very sweet.

I could care less if a brain dead useless slab of flesh like Jessica Simpson is here. She's a less talented singer than most of our local singers, but just happened to have an extremely creepy incestuous father to pimp her out.

I don't mind celeb sightings in sowal, but can we at least attract celebs that are like most of the locals, i.e., smart, funny, caring, generous, etc.?

i think it is cool that this is a place that celebrities can come to get away from the paparazzi. they may run into gawking fans such as ourselves but this is a vacation for them like it is for many people who come down. It should make us appreciate that we are in the biggest small town here. So i say to Jessica and Tony. They are helping businesses down here. Sorry but don't you think it is the least bit intersting that a celebrity would come to Watercolor or Seaside?? Whenever I talk to my friends who live in Memphis or other places they only think I live in Destin not Santa Rosa Beach because it is a small town. People in FWB have no clue where I live because they don't come down here much, but for a celebrity who has been everywhere to come to this side of the panhandle is cool. Oh and thanks Geo because I knew about Jason Castro, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Kyle Massey but had no earthly idea that someone as big as Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo would be here.

If people keep raising a rukus everytime a celebrity comes they won't very long as the paparazzi will follow. I believe Minnie eluded to this previously. I've known of many more celebrities that have vacationed here and even own homes here, but I don't broadcast it as I like the peace.
