Folks, you can order anything you like from Seacrest Sundries. We'll try to meet any request you make. We're not a deli, we have our restaurant area that's open all day, for folks to come in and relax. We'll fix you a big ol' greasy burger or maybe a nice sloppy Rueben with kraut and dressing dripping off onto your shirt. Or how about a big ol' Nathan's hot dog with kraut or chili and cheese. Chilie and cheese fries that'll make you forget that diet you were on.
Maybe you want to start your day with a plate of biscuits and homemade sausage gravy, Yep, it's homemade, right here in our kitchen.
Try us once, you'll never know until you try!

All sound good. I would be excited for a greasy diner in the are. We drive down to Hwy 79 for our breakfast fix at a place called Emma's Two. Go south on Hwy 79 and it's at the end, on the rigth hand side, across from the beach. Haven't had a burger but they look great. The snowbirds pack in so you know it's good and inexpensive and they have fried catfish anyway you want it either cooked in cornmeal, flour or a mixture! Their hashbrowns put the WH to shame. And the quality of their bacon and country ham is far superior. But one closer to 30A would be a wonderful thing to happen. Good luck.

Where's your favorite place for a quick, inexpensive lunch?

Teresa has named some good places but I have to believe there are more places to get something to eat that isn't "fine dining" or "eclectic fare." While that is good eats some of the time, most of the time people just want good food -- fresh vegetables like red beans and rice with a big ole slice of cornbread; meat loaf with mashed taters and turnip greens; a hunky burger with grilled onions, pickles and all the trimmings with sweet potato fries. I don't know why restauranteurs think it has to be fancy or complicated to be good.
Where are the other good places to eat? Where can a poor working girl go for lunch or dinner without taking out a loan?

destindonna, i've got the name of who owns the silver diner. Now I need someone to find out who owns the
SE corner of 30A and 393 and if they would lease me the site.
