Mail box mystery

Maybe the initial damage which broke the flag caused the broken off piece to get lodged somewhere inside the mailbox sheltered from the elements and from plain view. The most recent bashings to the mailbox caused this piece of your flag to become unlodged and thus wind up where you found it.

I am proud of our accomplishments, so when my pride crosses the line into bragging, I apologize. But that personality flaw is better than you being hateful to someone publicly on a message board. IMHO.

If these guys are drunk, and cruising (driving) the hood with their baseball bat while hanging out the window, they don't care and don't remember the personal side of the destruction in the same way as you owners who were damaged. All they will remember is that they hit the rich neighborhood and how it felt when they popped your mailboxes. If Landlocked lived on your street, they would definitely remember hitting his mailbox, and they would not go back for more.

I would not worry about this unless multiple things are going on here. Anyone vengeful or stupid enough to play with your mind will usually do more than one thing to bother you.

Vengeful and stupid are the people that live below me that watch the Golden Girls 24/7 and blare it.

This is very weird and scarry, in my opinion...10 years. I've heard of strange things happening before, but this is so odd. I hope either someone confesses or you figure it out yourself. Geesh, what a nutty thing for someone to be doing!

The real mystery is why anyone would live in a place where people attack innocent mailboxes.

I have lived in my house for 12 1/2 years. I have replaced my mailbox 4 times. We live in the country and I guess the kids get a kick out of bashing the mailboxes. I have had the same one now for about 2 years with no apparent bashing. I guess those kids grew up and moved away. YEA!!!!
