Before we get into the Barbie doll comparisons, I want to remind everybody that she quit her only real elected position after two and a half years of what was suppose to be a four year comittment. Is there anything else you need to know about her?

would focus as much attention on Obama as they do on Sarah and her family, .....right now Obama, his polices, his lack of achievement, and his hidden agenda should be the subject matter that we all focus on because our futures and America's depend on it...we can save our Palin watching for the 2012 Campaign run.

The Democrats are in control...they "own" Congress, they "own" the White House, ...They will soon start their third year in control...accept the fact that you ran and won, you wanted to be in charge, you were going to fix things...you promised the voters.. you had a plan of Hope and Change.....please stop trying to pass the buck and blaming the previous administration for all the your attempted fixes that haven't fix anything, stop saying that the Republicans are keeping you from being sucessful...you guys can over rule Republicans, you can keep them from even playing, you own the ball and the bat.....you knew the situation before entering the White House, you used it to campaign, you use it to get votes, you used it to win.... Now it is all yours and has been yours since 2009... stop whining and get cracking!!!!!!

There are plenty of threads on SoWal & elsewhere that address Obama & his policies directly. This particular thread addresses Sarah Palin, the VP nominee in the last presidential election & the high-profile politician who possibly aspires to be our next president. She has inserted herself into national politics w/ a constant stream of criticisms aimed at the president, she has endorsed multiple candidates in various states.
You say, "we can save our Palin watching for the 2012 Campaign run." I disagree. Even though you & I have different worldviews, I'll bet you would contend that earlier attention to possible candidate Obama would have "exposed" him for what he truly is. So what this thread is really about is an attempt to expose Ms. Palin for what she truly is: poorly educated, poorly informed & hypocritical. I hope that the critical mass of data/info supporting this premise will keep her from even being considered as a viable candidate for any political office in the future.
Bottom line:
Palin is a politician who has been heavily promoting herself as "family values" and using her family and children to justify major policy/career decisions.
And they'd rather tell the world via tabloid what is going on in their lives than talk to her.

Since you reminded us of Sarah Palin's political history and her failure to fulfil her term of office...I would like to remind you how Obama made it into political circles:
1995 he decides to run for Illinois Senate Seat...he wins because he is the only one left standing after he has his four competitor petitions invalidated .
In 2003 he decides to run for the State Senate, his main competitor Blair Huff in the primary was ahead in the polls, Obama and his supporters fought for Huff's sealed divorce records to be released and when they were his numbers dropped and Obama won the primary.
He now faced his general opponent Jack Ryan. Ryan had higher ratings than Obama...again Obama and his supporters went searching for dirt.. bingo another sealed divorce record, it worked once ..maybe it will work again.....they fought again to have Ryan's sealed divorce records unsealed...once unsealed Obama won. He was on his way to the big time...Washington DC.
2006 He arrived in Washington to serve a 4 year term, In 2007 he announces his decision to run for President. He spends much of his Senate term.out campaigning for President. He really wasn't a full time acting Senator, now was he? He also didn't finish his term of office either.
His whole presidential campaign was built around the following...
?A new kind of politics.?
?No personal attacks.?
?Post-Partisan politics.?
Did you see these being applied or used in his campaign? Hillary didn't stand a chance against the Obama Chicago gang, even with her Clinton expert team. Then after Hillary lost, the attacks began on John and Sarah. For the outspoken Palin, folks were sent to Alaska to dig up dirt. Even after Obama won, he and his supporters who still held a grudge, made Palin's life and her financial situation miserable. I think they might have seen that she could be trouble in 2012. I understand why she left her governorship, how can you do your job justice when you are trying to fight bogus lawsuits, dodge reporters trying to find dirt on you, and see your family smeared all over the place. I don't hold her walking away from the governorship against her at all. I think she might have seen a bigger calling...and is now fulfilling it. She is one tough cookie...she takes a hit and keeps going...

Again,...this specific thread is about Sarah Palin & adduces evidence that she is poorly educated, poorly informed, hypocritical, narrow in her views, wrong-headed in her policies...etc.
When there is a post about Sarah Palin, you say, oh, that reminds me of several things about Barack Obama. That is called changing the subject. Your points about Barack Obama might remind me of several things about Jesus Christ.
If you want to respond to--or "refudiate"-- the points about Ms. Palin, please respond to those points directly.

I wasn't under the impression that I had been "got"? In what way was I harsh in my description of my Palin magnet and where it was purchased?
