I have not been to Five Guys, yet. I hear it's delicioso.

Oh lord...that's very close to my absolute favorite non-shrimp meal of all time...SAUSAGE & POTATOES.

Potatoes, sliced. a little bit of oil. Seasoned black pepper & onion salt. Slice smoked sausage in. Cover. Let it cook until the taters are tender (stirring occasionally so as not to burn, and even if it burns just a little, that's best of all). Uncover to let the grease cook off.

Not healthy for anything, except the soul.

Actually, I hear you here ShallowsNole! When I was growing up, my dad would make us fried potatoes and onions with this amazing homemade venison sausage! One of my favorite gastronomic memories...

I like what Mitch Hedberg (RIP) said:

I like baked potatoes. I don't have a microwave oven, and it takes forever to bake a potato in a conventional oven. Sometimes I'll just throw one in there, even if I don't want one, because by the time it's done, who knows?

I second the fried potatoes with onions with the potatoes cut into random squarish shapes-I can eat 2 potatoes worth of these! I would take these over any other side!!!
