Yes, it's true. The girl is a high school senior as of tomorrow morning and in honor of this great milestone, she and most of the senior class will be out until 3 am rolling the campus. The kids have been waiting three long years for this night, and when they are done, the beautiful tree-lined driveway up the hill to the school will be dripping with acres of toilet paper. As the freshmen parents drive up that hill Friday morning to drop off their innocent new high school students, they will be treated to the Indianapolis version of "spanish moss." The mist will be rising from the river and the grounds will have a ghostly ancient low country look.
And then it will be business as usual, as the seniors are ordered outdoors after school hours in true school detention fashion, to clean up their handiwork, and it will be a sweet goodbye to another time-honored senior tradition.
