Yes, it's true. The girl is a high school senior as of tomorrow morning and in honor of this great milestone, she and most of the senior class will be out until 3 am rolling the campus. The kids have been waiting three long years for this night, and when they are done, the beautiful tree-lined driveway up the hill to the school will be dripping with acres of toilet paper. As the freshmen parents drive up that hill Friday morning to drop off their innocent new high school students, they will be treated to the Indianapolis version of "spanish moss." The mist will be rising from the river and the grounds will have a ghostly ancient low country look.

And then it will be business as usual, as the seniors are ordered outdoors after school hours in true school detention fashion, to clean up their handiwork, and it will be a sweet goodbye to another time-honored senior tradition.

:clap_1: Good clean funn!!!

I was teepeed for the first time this past spring.
The only reason I mention it is because it did have to do with school. I chaired a function that I did not have the engery to attened after I had spent countless hours planning it. But I threatened all I knew with bodily harm if they did not attend. Well the next morning I awoke to "peach" toilet paper all over the front of my yard. I know for a fact that the paper in question came from our school because you cannot buy "peach" paper in the stores, only obtainable from the janitor's closet at school! :funn:

I guess next time I will show

Okay, here's the update...darling daughter just left for school looking like the cat that swallowed the canary. She and a bevy of cronies, er, co-conspirators, came in last night slightly past 2 am (why I am up so early when I waited up for them??? I must be as crazy as they are) boasting that not only had they rolled the hill but they got all the utility wires too. At least that's what I think she said but I must have misheard because it doesn't look like any of them were electrocuted. And surely they would have been??

I am feeling the love for Philippa especially since I just checked the hall closet and saw that she didn't swipe as much as a single sheet of TP from the household--and it was a mother lode fresh from Costco that would have done half the oaks lining the hill! Now that's restraint.

I hope someone took pics because it's raining away to beat the band, which will reduce all "spanish moss" to a glutinous mess before lunch time!
