BeachRunner, please don't rely solely on the white stripes because while they are at many crossings, they aren't at all, and I don't understand why they aren't required to be painted within a certain time period after paving a road or driveway.

Why don't we have any of the lighted cross walks that run from just East of Destin to Hwy 393 and suddenly stop? Aren't those installed by the TDC? I find it hard to believe that there are more people crossing at Cypress Dunes than Seaside, WaterColor, or Seagrove.

I like the new signs. Plus, if I hit one, I win, unlike those tubular industrial signs.....they would've won for certain!

Smiling Joe: The signs are litter, you are exactly right. The bike paths would do far better with painted sidelines and off-colored pavers to highlight the crossovers tastefully. The crossover at Wheelhouse is, frankly, disgraceful (and it's confusion is dangerous). I'd sure rather have bicylers watching the the upcoming path and crossovers, as they stayed intuitively between the lines, than have them trying to read the myriad of signs. Maybe SWGB had an idea with the cattle chutes...
