we all have different perspectives.
i'm very put off by people who speak in such absolutes as obama did. it's just a sign of naivete and/or arrogance. and those are things i think have been really detrimental to our country in recent years and we don't need in leader. i watched with several people and we all kind of caught on to that and our teeth grated...

look plenty of people disagree with me on that. that's why bush has been in office for 8 years. i don't expect that everyone would be put off by it.

Every single politician talks in absolutes and if he/she does not they are immediately accused of waffling or of being weak on a stance.

I personally do not find Obama to have any naivete or arrogance at all (although I am sure many will diagree with me - and that is OK) - BUT I certainly am SO OVER the arrogance and God awful past 8 years of the current administration.

I think I am missing something here. I read the article, and it is only negative if you think "liberal" is an insult. I like getting links to opinions from all over the spectrum here.

I agree. I consider myself very liberal on several different issues. I never realized the word would be considered an insult within this enlightened group. Live and learn.

I don't see a problem with his voting record. Of course I'm one of those wacko liberal types.

The title of this thread is amusing, and will get predictable results and responses. Gotta love bait- works like a charm.

Now, I KNOW I'm going to vote for him in the GA primary. :D

I think both terms...liberal and conservative are outdated.

I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
