just not March 1-April 15.... Sign on 231 " Family's enter Bay county PCB at this time at your own risk"
Just because you believe it isn't possible doesn't mean other families don't enjoy PCB during spring break.

Then you're not as old as I am because my parents took us there every year for two weeks. It was family oriented back then.

I grew up in Bham and everyone vacationed in PCB! And plenty of families still do. Most of PCB is not under siege right now. Parts of it are out of control, sure. I've visited a few times over the last few weeks and saw nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't go to Spinnaker and Club La Vela Beach areas.

My family always went to the St. Pete area for spring break. We went to PCB for two weeks in the early summer, Daytona for two weeks in late summer, and The Diplomat in Hollywood for the week after Christmas. Daddy liked PCB the best. He'd drive us to South Walton after dinner (his faves were Captain Anderson's and Angelo's Steak Pit). He wanted to buy acreage in South Walton. Mom and I told him that we didn't want to live in the boondocks. Big mistake. We didn't follow the Golden Rule -- he who has the the gold rules.

So you're claiming no families are vacationing in PCB during spring-break because of something you read on Facebook. Now this is absolutely comical. I'll let you know when the National Guard arrives and takes back the city so you can crawl out your hidey hole.

I don't know firsthand on widespread all the bad is or isn't. But I can tell u that I camped in St. Andrew's State Park this weekend and we drove down Thomas Drive to get dinner at a place near Capt Anderson's. It was my mom, my kids and me. We saw other families at the restaurant. I didn't notice anything remotely resembling the pics and videos of the crazy stuff or of the descriptions. Perhaps the madness is isolated???? Idk

It's kind of funny to read these posts about this issue....some of the comments lead to a couple "adults" getting bent out of shape about others posts. Bickering back and forth....really? And we wonder why "kids" today act out like this...
Adults.....are supposed to be examples not join the crowd. Check the "adults" out in the club's as well in pcb.
God Bless and help the USA

Well apparently I'm not the only one that feels strongly about this...

PCB City Council just voted last night to ban alcohol on all sandy beaches through mid-April.

That ain't exactly the problem... The rats will scurry to the closest booze friendly beach...westward, I imagine.
