That may be stretching it a little far. I discovered that you mostly fall straight down when freefalling while skydiving, not much in the way of controlling the flight.

I know of the bat suits to which you refer, although I did not find the video on your link. The photographers at skydiving places wear the webbed suits and they can control where the go very well, but let's face it, they are going to Earth, not straight down, but down none-the-less. Those guys are more like a rock with good wings.

Mean old mister gravity . The one on Cold Fusion is a 90 second "glide"
