from what I have read most of them don't. They are supposed to be very sweet natured animals. Here is the schedule of events for the show:


8:30 am Mandatory Exhibitors' meeting
9:00 am Southern Select 2009 opens to public
9:30 am RING 1: Halter Classes begin, males
RING 2: Performance Classes begin, females
FLEECE: Judging begins in the Hall of Fame Room
10:00 am Seminar ? Dr. Norm Evans - Alpaca Care
12:00 noon ARENA: Performance Classes begin
2:00 pm Seminar ? Dr. Norm Evans - Alpaca Care
5:00 pm Halter classes recess, close to public
5:30 pm Social hour(woo-hoo!) ? Blue Ribbon Circle
6:30 pm Dinner (must pre-purchase tickets at registration) Blue Ribbon Circle. Blue-grass musicians after dinner.
7:30 pm Live Auction-Herd Sire Breedings begins ? open to everyone
Blue Ribbon Circle.

what made you think this thread would end up different than any other.

I went to see him tonight, well take him some dvd sets I got him, he loves "Friday Night Lights" and "Everybody loves Raymond" so I got him the first two seasons of each. It ends up like three days worth of time, that oughta keep him busy. He is already trying to get himself around and almost fell today, geez! Maybe I should get him on SoWal?

His physical therapist will shoot him if he ends up spending as much time on his arse as I do because of SoWal!
