what made you think this thread would end up different than any other.
I went to see him tonight, well take him some dvd sets I got him, he loves "Friday Night Lights" and "Everybody loves Raymond" so I got him the first two seasons of each. It ends up like three days worth of time, that oughta keep him busy. He is already trying to get himself around and almost fell today, geez! Maybe I should get him on SoWal?

Well, looks like we will be finding out.
He gets to go home at the end of this week, looks like we have our work cut out for us, they are sending him home in an ambulance. I printed out this thread and took it to him, ummmm, I kinda got this look........he really appreciates all your thoughts and prayers....I told him we prayed him out of it.
Guess what I'm getting? SJ, I read they have excellent fiber for weaving. *hint* *hint*
We are going to an alpaca show in Shelbyville, TN the first weekend of March, anyone else wanna go?

Honestly, I had to google it, I had never seen it before. His wife said it was his soap opera, or his quilty pleaure.
The alplaca's were discussed a couple of years ago to no avail, we were talking about this big alpaca coat I was wearing in the hospital, it really is the warmest coat I have and my brother Steve was teasing me saying if we bought alpaca's I'd be building them a pink gingerbread house......he is right....it went on from there and we decided to buy a couple as a family, funn, hobby. We have a lot of land and a lot of it is already fenced for the cows....so just add some alpaca's. The land is around my Dad's house and he is retired so......we will just let him take care of them....
My Dad actually called me this afternoon and wants me to go to some farm with him next weekend to look at some. Now......we are buying alpaca's, building a pink gingerbread house for them and DD is taking her next vacation to come and shear them. Keep up! 
Steve is out of the hospital, we will know in another week or two if he has to have bone grafts. Please keep saying prayers he does not.
