Eloquently put. Do you have an answer or do you just know how to search things in Youtube?
If you are asking whether I have at least a rudimentary understanding of the concepts presented, the answer is a resounding
YES. I have always been passionate about science, biological sciences, genetics, evolution, neurological sciences, engineering, computers, statistics, you name it! I read about this kind of stuff and I love it. It's insulting for you to assume that I just simply did a search and put this together just to satisfy a position. You simply don't know that. As for your question, I don't have an answer, but that certainly doesn't invalidate evolution. I am not an expert in the subject, but my guess is that when the ape chromosomes fused it was a very rare event. Even if it happens occasionally today, the mutant offspring would be undesirable from a reproductive standpoint to most humans. Who's going to mate with it? It would be too ugly for most humans and reproductively incompatible with the apes because of the chromosomal difference. Evolution doesn't just involve mutation, it also involves survival and reproduction.
Anyway if you're really interested, do some googling and see what the leading evolutionary scientists are saying. I'm curious myself if they have similar answers. I'm sure this question has been asked, before. Better yet, find a university professor, e-mail him, and ask him.
