In need of some smoothie suggestions. The oldest little Otter can't have dairy or beef products for a while. He needs protein so he wants to try some smoothies for breakfast. Got any suggestions?
Heck yeah, but yogurt is a dairy product -- Isn't it???:dunno:

Too far from the beach (Chicago 'Burbs)
Jamba Juice has all fruit smoothies - but I see they are not in Chattanooga. Anyway, I'm thinking you could blend fresh fruit and juice with ice to make smoothies. You could also substitute soy milk for any recipe that calls for regular milk.

And there inlies the problem. What do you use as the liquid filler / mixer :dunno:

Ice cream is the filler. Use non-dairy ice cream. Yeah, I know it's probably tofu but you disguise it (well) with fruit. Freeze the fruit chunks first.
