DD...go to the grocery store tomorrow...or asap! buy diet foods only! no nothing else! sorry...everyone in the house has to go on a diet!:D

I make the best cabbage soup:
shredded cabbage (i like it with the purple)
ground turkey or ground chuck (turkey has less fat!)
can of rotel

Brown turkey, drain well!
put in pot, put in rotel and cabbage
cover and let cabbage steam

ymmmmm...you can do without meat too...but as long as you use lean turkey is not fattening!

mr. dd will not diet...doesn't need to. :bang: plus, he hates soup....well, except for my wild mushroom soup.
will do the store on wed....got stuff to do tomorrow night--and then there's work..:bang:

OL...the meetings are really good. I was most successful when I attended each week. You also need to eat all the points to lose. A friend tried to eat less and did not do as well.....go figure! I always liked the idea of saving for a special treat so I did not feel left out.

DD - Hang in there..I have NO doubt you can make it happen...you got tasso to TN didn't you;-) Just worry about one moment at a time. I take my day in 3 hour increments...started back when my dad had cancer. I just could not bear to try to survive any longer. Works well for me. I make it till 9, the 12 then 3 then bedtime....the last is a little longer than 3 hours.

Oh, I'm sure most of the time I'll use all my points. It's the 0 point soup that killed me last night. I was full!

Breakfast today- Fiber One Cereal & coffee. My biggest challenge is to drink enough water.

Awwww.....iwiwt!!:love: You're a doll! :love: Your plan makes a lot of sense. Last night I was thinking that if I'm gonna cut out smokin' and eating crap, then I might need to up my alcohol consumption!!! :D :lol: JK!!!

My SoWell Day:

No breakfast--too busy. Lots of coffee.

Lunch--Beef Fajita salad, about 10 tortilla chips, iced tea

Dinner--yet to be determined.

Stopped to buy CIGARETTES on the way home and the store just happened to be right NEXT DOOR to Krispy Kreme--uh, uh, I know what you're thinkin'........they smelled soooooooooo good....and I don't even like KK that much.......but, NO I did NOT drive thru and buy any!! My great victory for the day!!

Well, I did have one other small victory--I finally got up the courage to weigh:eek: and I'll be danged if I don't weigh the same as when I last was keeping track. So.....I guess the holidays didn't do as much damage as I thought. At least I don't have to completely start all over again...:D
