MS, male spawn, my son, (Steven) is leaving for Ireland tomorrow for a summer abroad trip (actually just a month). He will be seeing the entire country with a group of 8 and 2 Mizzou professors from a coach bus and will be staying in hostels. The country is their classroom! I love that! I also love that I am not packing for him anymore!

Ireland is one of my dream trips, as well! How wonderful that MS is getting this opportunity!!

I loved Ireland! Beautiful country and warm friendly folks! We rented a 250 year old cottage and took day trips from there every day. It was so cozy in the evening to get back and walk across the yard to visit wit our 80 year old hostess. The cottage had been in her family for 250 years!

She was a delight and had beautiful gardens surrounding her home. All planted and tended by her! Oh and did I mention........she drank me and GTTBD under the table on a nightly basis!!!!! :rofl::funn:

Didn't mean to highjack this thread!! Your trip sounds fab! As is usual around here, MS will be the first to see Ireland!!! I will be going to Houston!
