If I won, I would buy Seagrove Villas Motel (If they would sell it to me), I would move my family and friends in rent free and live happily ever after.

I would invite all of my closest friends, relatives and associates over for a HUGE cookout. At the end of the party, I'd have a team of deputies come in and issue everyone tresspass warnings and no contact orders for me! HAHAHA! j/k

I haven't seen anyone mentioned strip clubs. I saw the story of one man who won mega millions in the lotto. Everyone, including the man himself, said that he used to be a good man, but when the money came, he changed. He suddenly begin to realize that everyone had a price for everything, including sex. He would make local women in his small town, outrageous offers for sex, and they all took it. His possession of money made him feel very powerful. He was even allegedly robbed of a couple hundred grand in cash, which he carried in his car, every where he went. Quite and interesting interview/report.

I would first take care of my friends and relatives. Then I'd open a no kill animal shelter. Donate to various charities - jacques cousteau, aids, manatee conservation. I'd love to spend 2 weeks in Africa with the meerkats. They fascinate me! Then I think I'd just love to travel - Tuscany, The Maldives, New Zealand, the Galapagos. Oh, what a life!

DD, if you pay cash for the Washaway, you won't need insurance. Just rebuild it if it blows down.

"I'd buy a big house where we all could live" comes to mind.....WASHAWAY! Would you let me quit my job and come cook for you full time?

I would buy the Washaway too , pay off my parents' and siblings debts and mortgages, have enough $$ to live comfortably, random acts of kindness (I like this idea, Minnie) and then I would set up the rest in trust for my kids. OH...travel I would HAVE to travel!!!

I would love to see a big study done on how many people actually wind up worse off after winning than they were before. I would wager it's a huge percentage.

One of the cable shows did a follow up on a bunch of winners. I think only one of them was still doing okay. The rest were dead, in jail, or poor again.
