Right here!
You gonna move to her district in California and vote for her opponent? I really dislike outsider interference in how a given/state elects their public officials, even though I'd so love to see someone like the distinguished moron Darrell Issa crawl back under his rock.

I moved out of her district specifically to get as far away from that aweful woman as I could. :D I"m not going back, evar!

(Although I have to admit that having the chance to vote against her re-election was a thrilling experience! :D)

IMO most of the people squacking about recalling Scott should have paid attention and solved the issue back in November.

This is the candidate who got elected. No surprises IMO.

Plus, he can't be recalled. State law doesn't provide the mechanism to do it.

That was the question I had, is there even a mechanism in place, other than Libya style. Interesting that less than 4 in 10 Floridians describe themselves as 'conservative'...a recall might have had a chance.
Mississippi Rates as the Most Conservative U.S. State

I have yet to meet 4 Floridians who even like the guy.

I agree with Scooty, we elected him, we have to roll with the punches. One thing I do wonder about-does anyone remember the hubbub right before the election where Bill Clinton was supposedly trying to get Kendrick Meek to drop out of the senate race? It was speculated that this would keep black voters away from the polls, and I wonder if that number was substanital enough to get Scott past Sink. :dunno:

You won't find 4 on this forum but here is one. I really seriously considered Sink until all the dirty rhetoric started coming out from sources like the Florida Police Benevolent Assn and others. I'm with 30ashopper in what he has done so far I mostly agree. I don't agree with his expansion of the executive branch. Oh, and come to a Tea Party meeting and I'll introduce you to a bunch who "like the guy".

this is soon to change

Independent of whether or not Scott detractors would have the votes to do it, you would first need a constitutional amendment passed. If you can get the ballot measure approved by the legislature the next possible ballot vote is Nov. of 2012.

Until then, you'll simply have to accept the will of the voters.

BTW, I'd support passing that type of amendment if it did come to a vote.

I don't think I would. There is enough crap in the political game now without adding more.
