Well, I named our house and made a sign today.

It represents the HEART of course that went into designing and working on a lot of it ourselves and of course the SOL is to give recognition to our solar panel system :D

Sign

Oh Gidget, I love the sign!!!! Hearts are a fetish of mine. The name of my business is Heart Pet Sitting and it is because I love hearts as well as animals. I'll know who lives there if I see the sign. What a nice job!!! Mine is just a rental but it has no name and I want to name it but have not figured out what yet. I am glad you are enjoying your new home. I hope we get to meet, Brenda

what a great house...do you think a citrus tree would be a good choice for your yard? The edible landscape is great...Had a friend who had grapefruit, lemon and an orange trees in his yard. It was a fabulous setting for breakfasts....

Citrus takes a little bit of work down here because of the winter cold snaps, and you need to check if a given species can self-pollinate or requires cross polination like some tangerines do.

But if you're willing to deal with the quirks, you won't find a better tasting satsuma than the one you can pick from your own yard, IMO.
