Perhaps that is because if you physically go there you would also be in error. If true is it simply now a Seaside and WaterColor parking lot? Perhaps the county should put a 4 story parking garage on it. And autonomous bus depot. And something loud that runs 24/7.

There has been an announcement, copied and pasted on Facebook, that is the TDC announcing that that access is permanently closed. It is real, and it's a disgrace.

That lot should be removed, it was paid for by TDC dollars so tourists could better use the beach access. Turn it into a transfer station for beach waste.

Are they removing it? Had not heard that, Walton County agreed to sell the boardwalk to the Watercolor Community Association for $750,000, and the county has abandoned the easement to the beach. The parking lot is still county property. The commissioners are supposed to discuss what to do about the parking lot at their meeting on March 26.
