Some strange force is making powerful political men be unfaithful to their wives.
(Spitzer, Clinton, Edwards, Gingrich, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Schwarzenegger, Sanford, Weiner...ad infinitum).
What ever could this strange force be?!?

Yes what would make a man with unlimited opportunity want to have sex with as many different women as possible? How strange.

So...if I understand you correctly...you think Freud was on to something, right?

Oh I don't know much about Freud. Your post reminded me of a Southpark episode. I was being facetious and I took it that you were too. I think its just basic human nature and that monogamy is unnatural. Powerful men with opportunities will try to capitalize on the fact that women are fawning all over them. It's always been that way and always will be. Chris Rock says "you're as faithful as your options". The problem is, the people with the most options are usually famous and have the least amount of privacy.

Well, maybe. But these politicians all behave as if they have a case of arrested development. (and a decided lack of imagination - underwear photos, hotel hookers, cigars, hiking the Appalchian Trail , etc.)

They're no Jack Kennedy, that's for sure.

I think things like texting while driving, talking in a movie theater, and playing Kenny G. are worse offenses than anything attributed to Tony Dick.

Weiner said he was the victim in all this...

The true test of his moral being is whether he will resign.

I predict he'll fail this test, just like Ensign, Vitter, Gingrich, Sanford, Clinton, & many more.
