Loretta Lynn was in our Wamart once right before Christmas. She was very gracious and signed autographs for the few nervy enough to ask.

My cousin was in an elevator with Robert Duvall in Memphis and she said "You're Robert Duvall, aren't you?" He just grinned and said "yep".
She was too overwhelmed to say anything else.

I  Robert Duvall....Lonesome Dove is one of my favorite miniseries ever.

Kimmi, I think you forgot Kanye!

Donny Osmond waved to me outside his dressing room window, I shared the same elevator with Danny Bonaduce. I think that's it.

I would not care to meet Jerry Lee Lewis. Not surprised he was here in Memphis though, probably is here alot as he owns a home in Nesbit, Mississippi, or did, which isn't far from here. Might still own one here. Would love to meet ZZ Top. There are celebs here quite often as they seem to like to come to Memphis and shoot movies here. But I wouldn't get in the middle of all that to meet them. Traffic is crazy enough around here as is!

Short of a big-time "connected" bookie I once met in Hot Springs AR, Jerry Lee's crowd was the meanest and roughest looking bunch of hangers-on imaginable.

Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top used to go to Molly's La Casita a lot when they recorded at Ardent. Haven't heard of that happening much lately.

The house they used for Susan Saradon's "movie mother" in The Client was on the back side of my block in Midtown Memphis. They shot there for three nights.

Since The Truman Show movie was filmed down there, did anyone meet Jim Carrey? He is a hoot! A few scenes of that movie were shot down there, one being at Eden Gardens, the boat scene. And at Seaside also. Would love to meet him! He was a hoot in Dumb and Dumber!

I've talked to a couple of people who met Carrey when he was down here. They said he was a nice guy, but was always 'on' so it was a little tiring to be around him for long.

Haven't met many celebs other than the time I was in an Ozzy Osbourne video and he signed something for me in between takes. For the most part, the famous people I've met have been in government or sports.
