I still have all my Coach bags from college 35 years ago. My 15 year old is coveting them. Juuuusttt maaaybee I'll let her use them. But not the one that was the perfect size to hold quart of bourbon to smuggle into the football games.

I love clutches and totes. The totes are practical for work and clutches for an evening out. The best part is if I used a clutch the night before I can just toss it in my tote for work and not have to go through the hassle of switching a bag if I am in a hurry. I never pay full price for a handbag and never spend over $300...although it is tempting. I have a dooney and bourke black leather satchel that I never use because after using I realize I do not like the function of a satchel...I read of a purse exchange party in an earlier post....I would gladly exchange the dooney.
I'm not really a clutch girl. I don't like having to carry a bag under my arm or have it hang off my wrist, but I like your idea of tossing it into the tote.
Maybe we could have an online bag exchange. That might be funn. or like the hornyments, a handmade handbag exchange.
Does your Dooney have the DB's on it? I've been thinking about getting a Dooney. I have a BCBG Black leather large, mint condition tote bag with a pretty silver clasp on it that I don't use much. Maybe we can trade.
