Oktoberfest at The Bay Promises an Authentic Experience Oct 5
October 4, 2019 by SoWal Staff
The Bay in South Walton is throwing down for Oktoberfest!
On October 5th, The Bay at the 331 bridge will offer traditional German fare and German beer all day, as well as live music from 6-9PM. Dirndl or lederhose are the preferred dress for this German-style beach party. The evening will serve as a celebration of German culture and cuisine, as the staff will be dressed in traditional German attire (think St. Pauli Girl) with plates and mugs overflowing with authentic Bavarian food and drink. With fall heading our way, bonfires are even more enjoyable on the beach at The Bay and this will be the perfect night to kick off the fall event season.
The Bay is located at the foot of the 331 bridge on the shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay. Enjoy lunch, happy hour and dinner daily, and brunch on Sundays. For menus and info, visit www.baysouthwalton.com or call 850-622-2291. Visit The Bay on Facebook for specials and updates.
Chef Jim Shirley Enterprises includes five other restaurants – each delicious in their own right. Seaside is home to Meltdown on 30A, Ji Shi, and Great Southern Café, while North Beach Tortilla Co. is located across the street from The Bay. Baytowne Provisions is located in the heart of Sandestin. Visit them all for good times and great food.
