Beau Interiors Captures Holiday Spirit with 4th Annual Christmas Open House Nov 17

November 11, 2019 by Audrey Johnson

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Beau Interiors. The Grayton Beach store is set to host their 4th Annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, Nov. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Everyone is invited to celebrate the season with live music by The Gulfgrass Ramblers, along with light bites, and specialty drinks in the breezeway. Meander throughout the store to discover unique gifts, chic decorations, and more. Beau will also have special sales and giveaways during the open house.

There's an art to making people feel welcome in the way that Beau Interiors does. Inviting, nostalgic scents get people in the Christmas spirit, and they always have fragrances like spruce, maple, Frasier fir, walnuts/pecans and spiced rum burning within the store to remind people of Christmas. Heirloom ornaments adorn snow-covered spruce trees while uplifting music fills the space between spaces. Christmas is a special time of year at Beau.

“We have been so blessed by our customers, so we wanted to take an opportunity to show them our appreciation,” says Kristen Foley, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Beau Interiors.

Some of Kristen’s fondest Christmas memories revolve around family, music, food, and, of course, the spirit of giving.

“Because I grew up in Louisiana and my mother's parents lived on a bayou, Santa would come by in a boat and stop at each home on the bayou and give a little gift and he would take a little drink as a "thank you." Starting in about 5th grade, and very year until I was old enough to protest, I was encouraged (forced) to sing "Chestnuts Roasting on and Open Fire" for the family. Then, I got to open one present from my mom and dad before bed, and it was always my Christmas PJ's to wear that night,” she recalls.

Every child deserves to be surrounded by warmth and love, and that’s why Beau Interiors selected United Methodist Children’s Home as their beneficiary for the 3rd straight year. A portion of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit that works to provide safe homes, caring support, and college scholarships to neglected and abused youth from Alabama and Northwest Florida. You can learn more about their work at www.umch.net.

“As followers of Christ, we are called to care for orphans and people in need. We felt led to partner with an organization who has done this so beautifully for so many years,” says Kristen. “With the number of children needing stable and loving environments increasing every year, and very few resources to truly help them, we felt there was no better organization to partner with to help provide children with a safe place to heal and find hope.”

Beau Interiors is a full-service design firm and showroom offering furnishings and gifts. The Grayton Beach store is open daily. Their signature style is inspired by the crystal blue tones of the Gulf of Mexico and soft neutral hues that mimic the coastal dunes capturing the essence of life on the coast.
