September 15, 2026 by Teresa Lischka
Join the SoWal community in support of Habitat for Humanity Walton County on Saturday, October 10th from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Market Shops in Miramar Beach for the 11th Annual Bloody Mary Festival, presented by Visit South Walton.

The much-loved South Walton event features unlimited Bloody Mary tastings from favorite Emerald Coast’s restaurants and bars, along with live music, SEC football, craft beer, prosecco, food vendors, shopping, lawn games, and more — all benefiting Habitat for Humanity Walton County.
Guests will sip and sample 17 of the area’s most coveted bloody marys. Competitors will compete for the highly coveted first-, second-, and third-place People’s Choice Award chosen by each guest in attendance. A panel of local celebrities will also judge each bloody mary to select the winners for the most delicious “Judge’s Choice” award and most creative “Best Bloody Accoutrement” award. Awards will be handmade by local artist, Aria Gaffrey.
There will also be an array of bites and treats from restaurants located throughout The Market Shops, including Ben & Jerry’s, Clean Juice, Jalapeño Mexican Grill Express, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Parlor Doughnuts, and Pizza by the Sea.
Relax on the lawn and and enjoy live music from local ’80s rock band Catalyst on the main stage. Throughout the event, various SEC football games will stream live on the big screen. DJ Dad will keep the energy going in the courtyard, while an interactive photo booth will offer a fun way to capture the afternoon.

Volunteers are essential to helping this high-energy event run smoothly while supporting Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes for local families. As a thank-you, all volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to this year’s Bloody Mary Festival. Volunteering the day of the festival? You don’t have to miss the fun! Depending on your shift, you are welcome to enjoy the festival before your volunteer shift or stay and enjoy it afterward. Come lend a hand, enjoy one of Walton County’s favorite events, and help Habitat build homes, community and hope right here at home!
Habitat for Humanity of Walton County is passionately committed to creating safe, affordable housing in partnership with hardworking families striving for a better future. With the support of generous donors and dedicated volunteers, the organization helps families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through the life-changing opportunity of homeownership. Since opening our doors in 1996, 74 homes have proudly been built, with many more to come.
The Habitat ReStore plays a vital role in this mission. By accepting and selling donated furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials at affordable prices, the ReStore not only reduces waste, it reinvests every dollar back into our community. The proceeds directly fund the construction and repair of homes for local families in need.
