Alaqua's 8th Annual Sip N Shop at Emeril's Coastal Italian

Emeril Lagasse Foundation will host the 12th annual Chi Chi Miguel Weekend on April 5 – April 7 in Santa Rosa Beach. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here.

Founded in 2006 by co-chairs Valerie and Mike “Chi Chi Miguel” Thompson as a small backyard gathering, the Throwdown Benefit Auction & BBQ has since expanded to a three-day event and one of the most successful fundraisers along the Emerald Coast.

Presented by Isagenix, the annual charity events: Wine Walkabout, Sip N Shop and Golf Tournament, will kick-off the weekend’s festivities culminating with the Throwdown Benefit Auction & BBQ. Tickets to individual charity events can be purchased separately.

In its eighth year, the Annual Sip N Shop event brings together fabulous shopping, sipping, socializing, and savoring of delicious fare as part of the Chi Chi Miguel Weekend every spring, in support of Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Presented in partnership with the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, the event features selected champagne and wines from premier winemakers; an exquisite 3-course lunch; curated shopping from designers, artists, and businesses; and a fabulous auction!

Currently, it costs more than $80,000 per month to operate Alaqua Animal Refuge, which is entirely dependent upon private donations.
