Local Catch Bar & Grill is a Locals' Favorite

Local Catch Bar & Grill has been going strong and gaining popularity since opening nine months ago and there are no signs of slowing down. The restaurant's coastal cuisine with a southern twist was an instant hit here in SoWal and they continue to gather faithful followers even over the off season. Known for using quality, fresh ingredients in all of their unique dishes, it's easy to see why Local Catch has already become a must-eat destination.

SoWal Style - Gulf Front Italian Villa in Paradise by The Sea

How about a brand new beach villa with all the upgrades and finishes that the discriminating buyer wants & expects? It's under construction now in Paradise by the Sea in Seacrest, to be completed in 2013.

For example, 12' ceilings on the first floor and 14' ceilings on the second floor with vaulted ceilings in the great room and upstairs master suite. Tumbled roman patterned limestone floors on the first level coming in off the infinity edge private gulf front pool & loggia area with summer kitchen entertaining area.

American Bald Eagle Pair Hang Out on Seagrove Beach

We get quite a few snowbirds in South Walton, but a pair of eagles swimming and frolicking on the beach recently take the cake. Actually, these two are likely permanent SoWal residents, probably a mating pair with a nest nearby.

This time of year our local eagles venture out for a good meal and to gather material (seaweed?) to build their nests for chicks coming soon. We've never heard of any on the beach though.

Sally Edwards and her husband Larry from Birmingham got quite the show from their Seagrove condo, and sent us the photos to share.
