South Walton locals know one of the best ways to kick off Summer is the annual Grayton Beach Kids Fishing Tournament. This year it was a bit cloudy and windy but no one seemed to mind.

Registration was only $5.00 per kid for boys and girls under the age of 15. The tourney is intended to promote responsible use of our marine resources through recreational fishing. Each participant receives a free rod and reel, tackle box, beach rod holder, bait, Pompano rigs and weights. Eighteen gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded! 

The 26th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival on April 26-29, 2012 was a picture-perfect festival, complete with white tents, flowing wine, gourmet food and live music at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
